At Blue Ridge Collaborative (BRC), we believe some of the most transformative stories are the ones hiding just outside the mainstream.
They are stories from creators and communities whose experiences, perspectives, and ideas are too often overlooked. They challenge what we think we know, create space for new conversations, and help us build a more inclusive and empathetic world.
This fall, we’re asking our community to help Bring It to Light.
Bring It to Light is BRC’s fall fundraising campaign, running until October 31, 2026. Our goal is to raise $65,000 to support the operating expenses that make our work possible.
Your support helps fund essential needs, including:
These behind-the-scenes resources may not always be visible, but they are essential to everything we do.
BRC funds and produces creative projects that bring overlooked stories into the conversation. From exhibits and films to podcasts and other creative projects, BRC provides a platform for narratives that don't always receive the attention they deserve.
That work matters because stories have the power to change how we see one another.
When we encounter experiences different from our own, we have an opportunity to listen, learn, and develop a deeper understanding of the people and communities around us. By supporting creators just outside the mainstream, BRC helps ensure those perspectives aren't lost or forgotten.
The work BRC does is meaningful, but it takes resources to sustain it. Bring It to Light gives all of us an opportunity to invest in the people, ideas, and stories that can help create a more inclusive world.
Whether you make a small contribution or a larger gift, your support helps BRC continue:
Every contribution helps bring another story to light.
We invite you to join us in supporting BRC during the Bring It to Light campaign. Our goal is $65,000 by October 31, 2026, and every donation brings us closer.
