Great stories don’t tell themselves. They require care, resources, and people willing to invest in work that expands understanding and strengthens communities.
We believe the most transformative stories hide just outside the mainstream. This fall, we’re asking our community to help bring more of them to light. Bring It to Light is our fundraising campaign, running through October 31, 2026, with a goal of raising $65,000 to support the operating expenses that make our work possible.
The work we do is hard, but it’s necessary. We are building a real platform for creators and storytellers whose narratives challenge the mainstream, amplify overlooked voices, and help build a more inclusive, empathetic world.

As our fiscal sponsor, Indigenous Memories provides the nonprofit infrastructure that allows BRC to accept tax-deductible donations and pursue grant funding while remaining focused on our creative and educational mission. This partnership is rooted in shared values of respect for community knowledge, ethical storytelling, and the belief that history and culture must be preserved with care and accountability.
