Blue Ridge Collaborative (BRC) is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to funding and producing creative projects that bring untold stories to light. From films and podcasts to books, exhibits, and digital storytelling, our work exists to challenge assumptions, amplify overlooked voices, and foster empathy.
Blue Ridge Collaborative operates under the fiscal sponsorship of Indigenous Memories, a North Carolina–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Indigenous Memories is dedicated to preserving sacred burial spaces and sharing the histories of those who came before us.
As our fiscal sponsor, Indigenous Memories provides the nonprofit infrastructure that allows BRC to accept tax-deductible donations and pursue grant funding while remaining focused on our creative and educational mission. This partnership is rooted in shared values of respect for community knowledge, ethical storytelling, and the belief that history and culture must be preserved with care and accountability.
